Great coffee and cakes, good sandwiches (the Turkish-style simit is my favourite) and amazing service. The cafe staff are so warm and friendly, and a visit to this spot always brightens my day.

15/1/26 morning coffee and lunch My charity colleagues chose this as a venue for coffee whilst discussing matters on a cold, dank, drizzly Thursday morning. I met them in the back room which was quieter (than the kitchen noises) but cooler, no problem. We had some coffees and hot chocolate, all very good being hot, nice and strong. My cappucino was garnished with a liberal sprinkling of cocoa powder and certainly hit the spot! We decided to stay in the venue for a light lunch as we had to continue 'business'. We decided not to go elsewhere as it was important to support such a local business. We chatted to the friendly and efficient staff about the menu. The heritage of the cafe is Algerian which is close to what we have in Lewisham as there is a strong community there. In fact I discovered that I go to the same Algerian barbers on Lee High Road as the young waiter! There was nothing specifically Algerian on the menu, the Tagine being the closest but it was not available so I decided on a Veggie Breakfast as my colleague was having one. The food was delivered in good time and was substantial, very well presented and nicely cooked. Another coffee was ordered along with a peppermint tea which came quickly, the tea coming in a teapot. The meal was enjoyed and we continued our meeting after for a good hour. We chatted with the waiters/cooks who happily reheated (steamed and then added more milk to cool it down) a very thick and nutritious hot chocolate. We left after over four hours in this cozy, friendly cafe. We had done our 'business' in relative peace with no pressure to buy. The toilets were beyond us at the back (gents and ladies' separate toilets with common washbasin) were clean and tidy. There was a steady stream of other customers using it. A woman who came into our back room with a laptop and a coffee asked for a heater as she sat next to the single glazed sash window. It was no problem for us. A heater was not supplied, fair enough! Unfortunately we had to leave the welcoming atmosphere into the drizzle of a cool Thursday afternoon.

“A Cozy Gem for Coffee Lovers” I recently visited The Olive Branch in Bromley, and it exceeded all my expectations. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with soft lighting and a mix of rustic and modern decor. Their coffee is phenomenal—I ordered a flat white, and it was perfectly balanced, smooth, and served at just the right temperature. The pastries were fresh and delicious; the Carrot Cake was a standout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Whether you’re catching up with friends, working remotely, or just in need of a caffeine fix, this place has something for everyone. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend giving it a try.

From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and warm lighting created a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. The menu was a perfect blend of classic and creative dishes, with options for every taste. I tried their signature [specific dish, e.g., avocado toast] and a latte, both of which were prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. Their pastries, especially the [specific pastry, e.g., croissant], were some of the best I’ve ever had—flaky, buttery, and simply divine! The café’s attention to detail, from the charming decor to the spotless cleanliness, really stood out. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast, a quick coffee break, or catching up with friends. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu

The friendliest café I’ve been to in Bromley. I had a look at some of the other reviews, and they were clearly meant for a different restaurant, so please ignore them. This is a small, family-owned business with a really welcoming atmosphere. I popped in from Sidcup while doing some shopping, and I’ll definitely be coming back every time.
